Tim Bradford (Eric Winter) and Lucy Chen (Melissa O’Neil) took their partnership to a new level in The Rookie’s Season 4 finale, giving some fans a taste of what they’ve been yearning for years. In this episode, the coworkers got up close, and personal, but not without work as the driving factor.
The plot begins when Tamara (Dylan Conrique) arrives at the LAPD station in a new automobile. Tamara does not realize the SUV she bought from a secondhand seller is loaded with heroin until a search dog detects something strange.
‘The Rookie’: An American Police Procedural Crime Drama

It has a total of 4 seasons and a combined total of 76 episodes. ‘The Rookie is one of the loved sitcoms. Its fans love watching the cast come together and bring a Lil laughter into their lives.
The sitcom follows John Nolan, a man in his forties who joins the Los Angeles Police Department as the oldest rookie. Will The Chen-Ford Couple Be Together?
Continuing with what Season 4 gave fans to look forward to, Chen realizes the owner of the automobile is a drug dealer who is a doppelgänger for Bradford when they run the plates. Bradford is sent in as a plant to help the force bring down a major kingpin by collaborating on a narcotics trade. When Bradford’s alias is offered a new job, Lopez (Alyssa Diaz) decides to keep the undercover operation going.
To add to the intrigue, Bradford’s lookalike has a girlfriend who is a near-clone of Chen, enticing her to join the undercover operation. When Bradford and Chen meet to discuss their tale, they determine that engaging in some PDA (Public Display of Affection), particularly a kiss or two, would be a good way to sell their undercover identities.
It’s a success for fans who have been waiting for the couple to be together, as they shared a brief kiss at first before going all out with an epic smooch (relive both kisses here). However, the episode ends before their mission is completed, leaving us to wonder if #Chenford is still a thing. As much as fans want Chenford to be together, there are expected to be some twists or turns in the upcoming time.
